Ms. Rana Flowers joined the UN Country Team in Bangladesh on August 5, 2024, as the Country Representative for UNICEF Bangladesh.
A native of Australia, Ms. Flowers brings more than 35 years of experience in international development, child development, and policy advocacy. Prior to this appointment, she served as a UNICEF Representative in Vietnam, China, Cambodia, Mongolia, and Belize. Ms. Flowers also previously worked in child development and policy advocacy in Australia and the United Kingdom, before joining UNICEF.
Ms. Flowers holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work & Arts, majoring in Psychology.
